FAQ

Yes! Whilst students will always receive a certificate of attendance we can also provide an official grade certificate.

Usually, European students can use their own insurance. Students from non-European countries should check, whether or not their insurance is valid in Germany. If not, they can buy the DFSR insurance for 70€ a month. Students from Taiwan and Australia need their own insurance.

No, students cannot choose grades. Schools offer spots according to their capacities. Usually, students are placed in grade 9 or 10. However, for gifted students we offer the possibility for gifted applicants to apply directly to Grade 11 which is the first year of the highly academic abitur exam cycle.

Yes, DFSR will take care of having school certificates from German schools validated and then send them to the SO. A blanket amount will be charged.

For applicants requiring to follow a certain subject, we are able to offer a subject guarantee in some highly requested subjects: Latin, French, History, Mathematics, Spanish, English, Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
